About the Bulls

The Bulls were founded in 1938. During their early years they were known as Northern Transvaal, but changed their name to Blue Bulls in 1938. They compete as the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup in South Africa and internationally as the Bulls in Super Rugby. 

Over the years they have won multiple Currie Cup titles as well as a number of Super Rugby titles. They have been known as one of the strongest rugby teams in South Africa for years.
